is always a pleasure. Apart from a couple of architectural mishaps in the downtown shopping district, the capitol of Hesse is extremely charming with its fien-de-siecle mansions and upscale apartment buildings. Not only is the town attractive, my friends Chris & Norbert's house, where I was staying, is as inspiring as it is welcoming & comfortable. Chris is a brilliant designer and one of the most creative people I know. Check out her hand-embroidered chaircover and pillowcase, a small sample of all the masterpieces in their home.
