The dancers seemed so down-to-earth, they seemed to have so much fun that I didn't realize how skilled they actually were until two days later, when I attended San Jose's "Dancin' Downtown - More than 35 dance groups and artists from around the Bay Area perform in honor of National Dance Week." Some performances were very impressive, others... not so much. In comparison I realized how professional Friday's show at the Rio Theatre was. Although very folklorico, they have every right to carry "Ballet" as part of their name. It's not easy to dance that well and have it appear effortless!
